For those in and around Eugene Oregon….A Testimonial for Peggy IIleen Johnson

Peggy enticed me with the idea of professional photos of myself. I figured I had been getting out into the business community so much I should have some photos that capture more than what I get with my cell’s camera. Little did I know how much goes into a pro-photo-shoot!

I arrived on time and with several outfits that Peggy suggested I bring. Then we did a little prep work and talked about what kind of look and feel I wanted to get out of this. Unsure I place my complete trust in the professionals hands, or eyes in this case.
Not only did the photos turn out wonderful, but Peggy made the whole experience fun. Nothing stuffy here. She even pulled out sample pics she had on file and had me try to strike some of those poses. That’s exactly what I thought the shoot should be like when I pictured it the previous few days before.

Peggy didn’t just take pictures, she pulled me into the camera and made me feel like a star the whole time.
If you are looking for more than just pictures, be sure to check out the www.EugenePhotographer.com Peggy IIleen Johnson
Trust the professional to take care of you when you go to a professional…Peggy is all that and more!
Thank you for the memories I will have for ever and the prints that I can share with friends, family, and business colleagues.

Free Phone Calls To Facebook Friends

Have you heard the news about calling your facebook friends for “free”?
Well that is now a possibility if you have 2 of 3 elements, which are common place in todays 1st world countries
1) An iPhone
or
2) An Android based phone
And
3) A Facebook account (with friends)

Next head on over to your iStore or Android Marketplace and look for the Vontage application.
The app is a mobile client allowing iPhone and Android users to make VoIP calls for free, as long as they’re calling a Facebook friend.

Here’s where I learned this -_-

I wonder how much people think their lives are private. We openly post our information on the web, speak of them in circles of friends, pay with digital monies, pay bills and file taxes…our whole lives are scattered all over the place…but yeah..my pants?

Side Note: I am not a wal-mart shopper. It’s been years since I stepped foot in one, but this issue goes deeper than Wally-World. They are merely an excellent distribution outlet.

Remit to include social media

Free whitepaper – IT infrastructure for midsized companies

Advertising regulator the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) will take over the regulation of companies' social networking pages by the end of the year, according to advertising industry proposals.

The ASA hopes that the move will plug a regulatory gap that has resulted in two thirds of the complaints it receives relating to activity over which it has no authority.

Trade body the Advertising Association has recommended that the ASA regulate companies' activity on sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

"This landmark move for advertising self-regulation seeks to address societal concerns and will increase…..

Just found this interesting, regulation beyond a company's website itself…Telling companies online how they may behave on social media sites.
It does seem some sort of oversight is needed as they are getting complaints and have no influence in this media-sphere.

Old and New, Friends and Thank You-s

This blog posting goes out to everyone who has made it such a wonderful year for me, my business, and my family.
I found myself in downward economy last January, along with many other people.
I reached out to my family and they were there for me. I cherish that.
I reached out to my community and they recived me with welcoming arms and positive motivation.
I found new friends and colleagues that I knew were out there, but had yet to show themselves.

At this point, just 12 months later, I am in new place mentally, surrounded with new people and new opportunities.
I have even fulfilled or am in the process of fulfilling several lifelong dreams, like finally doing the Motorcycle Thing, rain or shine I'm riding baby!

A few people who have helped me out, made a difference, offered support, taught me something and offer so much back to our community here in Eugene Oregon.
