The Process of Web Development

There are many things to consider when you have decided to launch a website for your business, band, social group, personal project, etc. Our process is broken down in a series of steps that keeps you informed and engaged during the various stages of development. Here, in general, is how the process will work:

  1. CONTACT
Initial contact with the focus and goal(s) of what your site should achieve.
  2. CONSULT
We discuss your brand and business to gauge your target market online.  Client provides overall goals and expectations from website, information, lead generation, shopping cart, etc.  Pair this with a consultation about the layout, design and navigation of how the client envisions the site's construction (pages and links names for navigation, functionality of pages, etc.) and we will be prepared for the next stage.
  3. MATERIALS
Client is responsible for all content copy and images used on their website.  If you have any current marketing materials, original artwork, design art work or a other files (PDF, ESP, PSD etc.) those are very helpful. Those files can be incorporated in the design of the overall Theme of your website's template.
  4. DESIGN
The layout of the site is produced and a visual mock-up is sent for your approval.
  5. PROGRAMMING
The framework is installed, graphical template is sliced and programmed into the framework, and is then sent for your approval to move forward
  6. CONTENT
Additional pages are created using the materials and copy provided previously discussed.
  7. 1st LIVE DRAFT
The page are  linked together into a site and sent for feedback. Change are made as needed.
  8. REVISIONS & TESTING
The final stages of live testing and debugging any scripts, forms, links, etc. is performed
  9. FINAL WALK THROUGH - APPROVAL
Final approval is given along with final payment.
  10. MOVING AND LAUNCH
Website is migrated from development server to client's hosting account and tested.
  11. DOMAIN DNS
Domain name is redirected (as needed).

Congratulations on your new website!
