Very creative and worth watching.

This is just a quick post of a new and wild, yet somewhat inviting, way to work from home.
Not to mention it brings a whole new meaning to heading out back because the wife has you in the “doghouse”

Back to work slackers!

For those following the domain industry below is a list of names that were sold in the live auction, their reserve price and sale price.
Congrats to the owner of Voodoo.com and to the new owner of Voodoo.com Great sale that toped the auction Favorites.com had a reserve of $500,000 and that looks like it never made the sale. Worth the money, but not so easy a sell in current economic conditions.

Aftering reading about the Toads on roads that Google has added to there Google Earth, I headed over to Feedburner to check out my stats. Low as they are I like to look at them anyhow.
Turns out that if I want to continue to use “Burned Feeds” I am required to move my feeds over to an exisiting Google account or no longer have them hosted/burned. Well, that made the choice more clear. Do it or Lose it. SO even more of the online world is being overtaken by the big G. I love all their services, but it starting to get a little scary out there on the planes of Cyberspace, or should we start calling it Google’s Space? They have their fingeres and toes in so many projects that many interenet users, markerters, affiliates, and domainers use on a daily bases.
Welcome to Googlespace, isn’t just part of Google Earth anymore!
Below is what they gave me once the transfer was complete.
We have successfully moved your feeds from FeedBurner account xxxx into your Google Account xxxxxxxx@gmail.com.
You will no longer be able to sign in to feedburner.com. From now on, you may now view and manage your feeds by visiting:
Your old FeedBurner feeds (at feeds.feedburner.com) will automatically redirect traffic to their new addresses on the feeds2.feedburner.com domain. All of your feeds have been moved into your Google Account, along with your traffic stats. If you see “0” for the most recent day, don’t panic! It may take up to a week for a feed’s full dose of stats to appear in your Google Account.

I have been wanting to get an iPhone for some time now. I am already with ATT and just learned that the plans include "unlimited" internet for about 5 dollars more than I pay now. I have also just learned that the new Gphone named "DREAM" is a go for google.
Main article I read is here
Latest NewsThe long anticipated and first Android handset, the HTC Dream is all set for a Fall 2008 Release. You can expect the phone to have some great features and specs to illustrate the power of Android, Google’s new open source mobile operating system.
and to get a even more information on what the DREAM is go here
Hmm now I wonder if I’ll just wait and see what shakes out of the competition. The 4 year old razor still works fine.
Google has been developing a new algorithm for indexing textual content in Flash files of all kinds, from Flash menus, buttons and banners, to self-contained Flash websites. Recently, we’ve improved the performance of this Flash indexing algorithm by integrating Adobe’s Flash Player technology.

Getting updates from a machince on MARS. I can watch and read and follow on Twitter. I find this a great use for this tool (Twitter)
There are over 18,000 people following the Mars Updates.
I am and have found it all very captivating. More about Mars and twitter More on Mars Phoenix
I recall watching a special on OPB (oregon’s modified PBS channel) about sending a drone to one of the moons of Saturn. They said getting that kind thing to happen is like throwing a basket ball from NASA in Florida to anywhere in Europe and hitting nothing but net! And it a pricey game to play, with large risks. I’m happy just getting the updates from twitter. Nice and simple.
I think we all use some for of compression software in our daily Internet and office lives. Well maybe not all people, but st some point you encounter the question, ” How do I make this file smaller?” The compression software that is built into Windows XP isn’t really all that great at compression files, but it bundles them up for you nicely so they attach easily in emails and for storing on disk. I was using Fipzip for a long time just to bundle files to deliver to clients and friends, but that program while serving me well over the years just plains sucks for compression. I only spent 5 mins looking around the web for a replacement to flipzip and found Just-ZipIT. Downloaded and installed and performed a zip on a .psd file that started as a 182MB. Filpzip only crunched it down to 180MB and that just will not do. But Just-ZipIT drop it down to just a tad over 25MB.
Now that is compression, Woot!
I give it a solid rating after its ease of use and its power of smashing data down small.
